A few weeks ago Misse and I celebrated our birthdays with her mom and her mom’s boyfriend (who, P.S. I love dearly) and they gifted us both with matching women’s devotional books. After taking a look at them we realized they were in fact different and didn’t say the same messages so it was Misse’s idea for us to do the devotional books together every day. So each morning we text each other a picture of the day’s devotional and my goodness has it been so good for us! I’m so thankful that we’ve been doing this together because not only has it brought us closer together, been conversation starters it’s also often times been a message that one or both of us really needed that day. Sometimes mine makes sense for me or us or sometimes it’s just a message for her and then vice versa. It’s a beautiful gift that we get to enjoy everyday and I’m so thankful for that.
