My best friend Erin’s birthday is today and it’s the big 3-0! We met almost 5 years ago at Camera Club, the leader of the club told everyone that night to find someone new and tasked us with taking a picture with them. Erin and I were standing kinda close to each other, had never met before, were both there on our own and so we started chatting. We ended up hanging out most of the camera club photoshoot that night, took a picture together and have gone on to be best friends. Multiple photoshoots and years later – today I’m thankful for her friendship and her family becoming like family to me.
