Today I’m thankful for the opportunity to tell my faith journey story during the women’s event at my church! Back on June 3 the leader of the women’s ministry asked me to meet with her and tell her about my faith journey and then she asked me to tell that story in front of our women’s event of almost 100 people! It was such an honor to be asked to speak and I was happy to do it. Although I will admit I was nervous as hell getting up there and speaking in front of that many people. But I knew if there was any story that I could tell with confidence it was how God has been working in my life. So I pulled up my story that I wrote out on my phone, gathered all the confidence I could muster and I stood up there and gave it all I had. I knew going into this that if I even made a difference to one person that would mean the world to me but I had multiple women come up to me after to let me know how much my story impacted them. And for that I am so incredibly thankful. Featuring the 4 beautiful ladies who are all part of my faith journey and were there with me while I told my story.
