So even though today is day 11 of my Thankful Journal today is actually when the vision for my blog/brand began. I woke up this morning and when I tell you God spoke to me He SPOKE to me. I was scrolling Facebook first thing this morning and came across a targeted ad for a lotus necklace that said it was a symbol of overcoming trauma. So I was like hmm that’s interesting, of course I’ve heard of a lotus flower but honestly I had no idea what the symbolism behind it was or anything. I went over to Google and did a search and turns out a lotus flower represents rebirth, and beauty in the face of adversity. I sat straight up on the edge of the bed and was like I think this is it, I think this is the business/brand name and concept I am going for. Then all of these thoughts started popping into my head and so I went into my notes app and just started typing and it was all pouring out into my notes. That was how Red Lotus Resilience was born…. In 45 minutes. Today I’m thankful for being able to hear God’s whisper as he gave me the beginnings of his plan and purpose for me.
